Manual Therapy

Manual therapy uses hands-on techniques to treat musculoskeletal issues in pets. It helps relieve pain, improve mobility, and supports joint and muscle function. Techniques like therapeutic massage, joint mobilisation, and stretching are especially beneficial for pets with arthritis or those recovering from surgery.

Therapeutic exercises play a key role in improving mobility, strength, and overall function. Exercises are tailored to the pet’s needs, helping to restore movement, prevent injury, and support recovery. Some exercises focus on joint flexibility, while others can be more appropriate for developing muscle strength and promote proper movement patterns.

Therapeutic Exercises

Therapeutic electrotherapy are non-invasive treatments used to manage pain, reduce inflammation, and support healing. Using a range of modalities allows treatment to be tailored to each animal’s condition from chronic issues like arthritis to post-surgical recovery, as different types of electrotherapy have specific purposes.

  • TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) helps relieve pain by interrupting nerve signals and stimulating endorphin release.

  • NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) prevents muscle loss and improves strength after injury or surgery.

  • PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy) and laser therapy promote tissue healing and reduce recovery time.
